Edible

What is Edible is a digital menu builder that aims to change the way restaurants communicate allergen and dietary information. Its core objective is to help its founder (who suffers from 28 allergens) find a good place for dinner.

Edible has two clear aims: to improve restaurant operational workflows — particularly the kitchen-to-front-of-house communication that has to happen before a menu can be safely published — and to improve the experience of eating out for people with dietary issues. Both sit naturally on top of Alex’s professional identity, which is built around the intersection of design and accessibility.

Edible is Alex’s project, but technically it is built by us. We have been the team behind it from the start — advising on the technical direction, shaping the architecture, and working alongside Alex as he has grown into the front-end work himself. The relationship is less “client and agency” and more “same team, with Alex driving the product and us standing up the foundations underneath it”.

Feeling stuck or unsure how to proceed?

With every project, we follow a fixed-time, variable-scope approach inspired by Basecamp's Shape Up. Book a short 30 minute call with us to help shape and reduce the scope of your problem until a sensible next step emerges. No obligation beyond that. You'll leave with a clearer framing and a concrete next step, whether or not we continue working together.
